Sons and Prophets was approached to name and brand a new company entering the dental care market with a mission to revolutionize the way people approach and afford oral healthcare.
Sons and Prophets began the project by conducting extensive research to understand the target audience and industry trends within a crowded marketplace. They identified the key values as affordability, accessibility, and simplicity – and incorporated these into the branding strategy.
After rigorous brainstorming sessions, Sons and Prophets proposed the name “DentalGo” for the company, which perfectly encapsulated its mission and values. The name not only emphasized action and movement but also conveyed a sense of readiness and accessibility.
Drawing inspiration from the brand name, S+P aimed to create a dynamic visual identity that conveyed movement and vitality. A bold and vibrant color scheme consisting of electric blue and purple was developed, evoking a sense of energy and innovation. The typography chosen was strong and bold, reflecting the company’s confidence and commitment to providing quality dental care.
For the brand mark, an abstract symbol that combined the letters “D” and “G” was developed to form an abstract tooth. This symbol was carefully crafted to resemble a heart and a butterfly, symbolizing life, health, and motion. The design not only visually represented the company’s focus on dental care but also conveyed a message of vitality.
Once the visual identity was finalized, Sons and Prophets worked closely with DentalGo to implement the new brand across various platforms, including the dynamic custom website with a thorough customer journey, marketing materials, and promotional campaigns.
The rollout of the new brand was accompanied by a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at generating interest among the target audience. The tagline, “Dental Ready, Dental Set, Dental Go,” was prominently featured across all communications, reinforcing the brand’s message of readiness and action.
The rebranding efforts led by the Sons and Prophets team proved to be highly successful for DentalGo, effectively communicating the company’s mission of providing affordable and accessible dental care for all.
